Kate Hudson doesn’t know what happened to that yellow dress from How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days – but she wants to track it down.
The actress starred opposite Matthew McConaughey in the 2003 romantic comedy, about columnist Andie who tries to date and drive away a man in 10 days, while playboy Ben takes a bet that he can make a woman fall for him in the same amount of time.
Kate, who played Andie in the movie, is seen in the film wearing a gorgeous, pale yellow backless evening gown.
The actress revealed that the costume department worked with designer Carolina Herrera to create the memorable piece.
However she isn’t sure where it ended up when filming wrapped 18 years ago.
In an interview with ELLE she said: ‘I have no idea where that dress is! I know it was Carolina Herrera and our amazing costume designer designed the dress with Carolina’s team.
‘I do not know where it is, but I feel like we should find it!’
Her co-star Matthew meanwhile recently shared he is up for starring in a sequel.
The actor feels there is more to the story that would make a great sequel.
‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is teed up, you know, teed up for one that you could easily do a sequel,’ he told E!’s Daily Pop.
‘And that was a really good one. As far as romantic comedies go, that was a really good one. And it lasts! People still love that one.’
He added with fond memories: ‘I enjoyed that one quite a bit.’
