The good news is that a returning Aldi product promises ice shortages to be a thing of the past.
Following its popularity last year, an ice cube-making machine is now being stocked at the supermarket – so you no longer have to dash to the freezer aisle at your local shop, or wait for your ice cube tray to deliver on the goods.
Instead, this impressive machine whips up ice in just 7-10 minutes – depending on the cube size.
The Ambiano Ice Cube Maker is priced at £79.99 and even has its own self-cleaning function.
You can also select either small or large ice cube sizes – depending on whether you want to chill a pint of fruity cider, or add one to a neat whisky.
The nifty gadget is available to pre-order now on the Aldi website, with a dispatch date set for later in the month. It can also be found in stores from May 22.
But we’d encourage anyone wanting to get their hands on one to act fast – as we have a feeling this may be a new summer staple for many.
And if the reviews are anything to go by, customers won’t be left disappointed.
