Zara knows how to capture the fashion world’s attention – be it with its cult polka dot dress or its unconventional website model shots.

But now the brand has just dropped its first ever lingerie collection and it’s safe to say we want every single piece in it.

Titled Female Gaze, the 91-piece collection features pants, bras, silk pyjamas, sculpting pieces, bodies, dressing gowns, two-pieces, slips and eye masks – all of which are dripping in elegance and sophistication.

Prices start from £9.99 and all the pieces come in beautiful neutral or muted tones, such as nude, silver, grey, soft brown and blush pink.

With most of the UK facing new lockdown measures, it seems the collection has come out just in time, as many people are looking to invest in comfortable working-from-home attire and loungewear.

The brand said in a statement that the collection was ‘designed and crafted from the starting point of ultimate comfort’ and is made from silk, alpaca, wool, cotton and tulles ‘for a fluid, ethereal and natural sensuality.’

As the name of the range suggests, the pieces are about celebrating modern femininity through women’s eyes, focusing on cupping and skimming, fitting and flattering, rather than ‘lifting’ and ‘boosting.’

A series of black and white portraits from photographer Annemarieke Van Drimmelen show off the pieces in all their glory, on the Zara website.

In other fashion news, the visible thong is back (whether we like it or not), as seen on the likes of Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Megan Barton Hanson and even Bella Hadid on the Versace catwalk.

Elsewhere, fashion favorite Levi’s has opened a new store in Soho dedicated to repurposing and recycling your old denim.
