If you’re the ‘I’m wearing two jumpers, two pairs of socks and leggings under my joggers but I’m still shivering,’ type of person, we have good news.
Aldi has brought out a heated dressing gown and, no, this is not a drill.
Meet the Kirkton House Heated Coat, the queen of Aldi’s middle aisle special buys.
The soft flannel fleece dressing gown comes in two colours: grey and cream, both of which are machine washable.
There are nine temperature levels and nine timer steps up to 90 minutes, all of which can be selected by a digital controller.
There’s also a detachable lead cable and hand controller unit, meaning you don’t even need to move to get yourself feeling toasty, and it comes with overheating protection so all you need to do is relax.
Costing just £34.99, it’s an obvious choice over switching the heating on – so obvious that it has sadly already sold out online (although you can check in stores now).
In the meantime, though, you can bag yourself a matching heated blanket for the same price.
The blanket has nine timer steps up to 180 minutes and it even has a little fleece pocket for your phone and chocolate bar wrappers.
Needless to say, Aldi knows what the people want when it comes to home comforts.
