Whitney Port warns trolls slating her body: ‘My husband will come for you’

Whitney Port got back at her social media fans after they commented on her most recent swimsuit photo while she was on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

On Monday, the 38-year-old former reality TV star chastised her Instagram followers for their “snarky remarks” about her weight and joked that her husband Tim Rosenman would step in if necessary.

Admitting she needs to ‘take a bit better care’ of herself, the ex-The Hills cast member told fans she was ‘on it’ and that their fear was ‘unfounded’.

The criticism occurred after the mother-of-one shared a series of photos from her sunny vacation in which she wore a flowery patterned two-piece bikini.

The celebrity grinned in her bright swimwear, exposing her stomach, and held a green drink as she gazed off into the distance.

The following slide showed Whitney approaching the photographer to cheers her drink and share a laugh.

The design maven addressed the noise in the comments and posted a lengthy note imploring followers to ‘hold [themselves] back’ after re-posting the video as a backdrop to her writing on her Instagram Stories.

She said: ‘Cheers to all you folks thinking I’m doing “body checks!” I didn’t even know what that meant until someone wrote it on one of my posts!

‘Everything was blown a bit out of proportion. I’m a busy mom who just needs to take a little better care of herself and I’m on it.

‘I, of course, appreciate any concern over my health but just a friendly reminder to hold yourself back from making snarky comments about someone’s weight, cause Timmy will come for you! Jk.

‘But for real. I’m super down with constructive criticism, but be careful of how harsh, unfounded, or mean-spirited your words can be.

‘That’s for everyone’s posts. Not just mine. I’m on a beach vacation. In a bathing suit. Warning: some pictures and videos might show my body!’

Some of the comments written underneath Whitney’s original post included a fan penning: ‘Is this a good role model? Sorry, but Jesus Christ’, and another saying: ‘Please Whitney. You need to talk with a professional’.
