Victoria and David Beckham are notorious for making fun of each other (lovingly, of course), so it’s no wonder that the Spice Girls star’s recent tweet has attracted the attention of, well, everyone.
Victoria, 49, surprised her millions of Instagram followers to a very welcome photo of husband David, 48, standing in front of her with just his trousers and socks, his extensive tattoo collection on show.
The former Emporio Armani model, who is no stranger to modelling knickers, gazed directly at the camera while carrying a black gift bag branded ‘Eton.’
Victoria, on the other hand, was more concerned with laughing at something her husband had said.
‘There r days when @davidbeckham really makes me laugh. He walks into the gym and says he’s “off to school” #eton,’ she wrote, clearly peeing herself laughing.
Fans rushed to congratulate the former pop singer for ‘helping the sisterhood out’ by sharing the photograph with the world, but the hunger was palpable in the comments section.
Even Gemma Collins got in on the action, commenting: ‘YES DAVID 🙌🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.’
‘Victoria – you are doing such a service for the women of the world,’ another admirer added, with one agreeing: ‘Happy he makes you laugh but this makes me smile 😜😈😋❤️.’
‘You’ve just made an old girl very happy,’ another commenter said, while others branded her ‘ever so generous.’
One user pointed out what a lot of us were thinking, writing: ‘You lucky girl !! 😍,’ with others saying the pair were ‘couple goals.’
Others, on the other hand, were more interested in what was displayed on the iPad directly behind David, which looked to imply he had been watching Madagascar: The Lost Empire. Escape 2 Africa with an accidently captured Moto Moto the hippo.
‘Why’s that on the laptop tho,’ one user said, with another replying ‘helping him to work with a hippo.’
Another user wrote: ‘Is anyone gonna explain the hippo of off Madagascar in the background.’
‘Are you comparing him to Moto Moto on the iPad?’ one user said, pointing out the similar post-workout poses of the pair.
It comes after the couple published a series of photos from their family vacation to Japan with Cruz, 18, and Harper, 11.
‘After so long it was so nice to be back in Japan with the family learning about the culture & of course enjoying all the amazing food,’ David shared on social media, accompanied by a slew of pics that were a tourist’s dream.
He uploaded a number of images of the family eating traditional cuisine, as well as posing with two traditionally-dressed geisha, the country’s famed professional female performers and hostesses, of which there are now just around 1,000 remaining.
David, Victoria, Cruz, and Harper also travelled outside of Tokyo to Kyoto to explore the Sagano Bamboo Forest.
