Vicky Pattison escapes from car minutes before it bursts into flames in shocking video

Vicky Pattison almost avoided death when the car she was riding in caught fire.

The terrifying event happened as the Geordie Shore actress, 35, and her fiancé Ercan Ramadan were leaving for a glitzy night out.

After the car caught fire, Vicky revealed surprising facts to her followers on Instagram, stating that she and Ercan had taken an Uber into London for a night out.

‘I actually don’t even know what to say about what’s just happened, it was absolutely terrifying,’ she said, laughing nervously in a video to fans.

Ercan noted the engine management light went on and the car started “making this really terrible noise.” as the pair was being driven by an Uber on the A1.

As smoke started to stream out of the rear of the automobile, their driver pulled over on the highway and told Vicky and Ercan to stay in the vehicle because ‘it will be fine’.

‘Obviously you’re on the A1 so you don’t want to get out,’ Vicky said. ‘And then all of a sudden it just caught fire.’

‘It just burst into flames,’ she went on. ‘The whole car’s exploded. Absolutely terrifying, and we’re just on the side of the road.’

Police arrived on the scene right away and told the couple to leave because they were dressed to the nines for their glitzy supper.

Vicky and Ercan were completely bewildered and confused of what to do when a “really wonderful man” passed by and gave them a ride to London, saving them.

She admitted she was ‘a little bit shaken up’… not helped by the fact Uber charged her £50 ‘for the privilege of nearly being BBQ’d (sic).’

Thankfully the couple eventually made it to where they needed to go, and Vicky shared snaps from their mouthwatering dinner, after ‘three cars, two hours and one near death experience.’

The host of the podcast Vicky got engaged last year, and in addition to preparing for their wedding, they are also beginning the process of becoming parents.

Following a setback in January when an ovarian cyst was found and had to be removed before the therapy could proceed, the celebrity is now working on freezing her eggs.

She shared in April that the cyst was gone, meaning she and Ercan, 38, are ‘finally able to take our next steps to becoming parents one day’.

‘We are happy, grateful and a little bit apprehensive but ultimately really excited to take these next steps towards growing our family together ✨

‘Sending you all loads of love. And to anyone else who isn’t quite where they thought they’d be with their fertility journey I just wanted to send you love, light and positivity 💕.’
