Una Healy has put pen to paper and revealed her heart in her songs after speaking up about her relationship with David Haye for the first time.
Una’s new ballad, Walk Away, is about leaving a toxic relationship after her romance with the boxer ended.
The former Saturdays star has released a new uplifting tune about breaking out from a’relationship or circumstance’ that is no longer healthy.
Speaking of the new single, the Irish music star said in a statement: ‘Walk Away is about having the courage to walk away from any relationship or situation that no longer serves you, to do it in style and to find the courage to move on to something better.
‘Throughout the song, there is a play on words that keep it humorous and upbeat.’
In an apparent dig at her ex, she sings: ‘You had my heart in a noose, while you were filling your boots.
‘Had a soul, like worn-out leather.
‘Now you can step aside (Step aside).
‘And I will walk on by, by.’
Una has claimed that she was ‘hoodwinked’ into her alleged throuple with David.
The 41-year-old pop diva discussed her three-way romance with the former boxing champion and his on/off girlfriend Sian Osborne, admitting she was embarrassed by their unique arrangement.
‘It was casual, it wasn’t serious,’ Una said of their early affair on the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast. I was content with it. It was in a romantic sense.
‘He was very honest that I wasn’t the only woman he was seeing, I was very aware he was seeing other people. I knew he was being honest and it’s not like I was being cheated on.

‘I knew he wasn’t husband material, just a bit of fun and I was enjoying it.’
Their relationship then took an odd turn when David, 42, asked whether model Sian might accompany them on a holiday.
The songwriter shared: ‘I remember on the flight over he was in the middle seat and he had one hand on her leg and one hand on mine.
‘I said to him, “What am I doing?” and he goes, “You’re having a midlife crisis but don’t worry, so am I!” and I thought, “[Sian’s] not because she’s ten years younger!”‘
Una believes that David relished the attention that followed them.
But the singer, who has two children with ex-husband Ben Foden, Aoife and Tadgh, despised every minute of it.
Una, who ended her relationship with David earlier this year, stated, ‘I think he was quite delighted about it, but I was in bits over it.
‘He didn’t get it; he was always trying to coach me on how not to get upset but I’ve never had to hit the block button so much. I had a list of words blocked on Instagram.
‘I don’t want to be in a three-way relationship!’
