Una Healy has reportedly expressed embarrassed at rumours of her alleged romantic relationship with David Haye and his partner Sian Osborne.
Following a series of public appearances and enigmatic social media statements, the 41-year-old former The Saturdays band member was rumoured to be in a ‘throuple’ with the boxer and his model companion.
Rumours circulated that they were romantically tied three ways when they greeted in the new year as a trio with an intimate trip to Costa Rica.
However, things appeared to have calmed down in recent weeks, with the singer apparently withdrawing to focus on her personal life with her two children, Aoife and Tadhg, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ben Foden.
The Tipperary native confirmed she was living a single life last month on Instagram and told the Irish Mirror: ‘I am single and raising my two children, just like many other single parents – both men and women – doing a great job. I am a single parent. I don’t like the term single mother as it has negative connotations.
‘You can’t do it all by yourself. There is no shame in asking for help, be that from childcare, family or friends.
‘I am often asked how I juggle it all as a single parent but men aren’t asked that.
‘In fact, I can never remember a time when I heard a man being asked how he juggles it all. Mothers don’t have a choice if they are single – you just get on with it’.
Following the rumoured breakup, David and Sian looked to have replaced the Irish singer with personal trainer Mica Jova, as the new trio posed for Instagram photos together.
Una’s feelings on her earlier time with the pair were shared by a source who informed OK magazine.
Despite knowing she left ‘at the correct time,’ she felt ’embarrassed about the whole situation,’ they added.
‘David and Sian have already found another woman, and she does regret going public at first,’ the insider stated.
‘But Una left at the right time and she’s got a new music career on the horizon. She didn’t want to be tarnished by it.
‘She had to cut the tie and doesn’t want anything to do with them now. David is on some other path himself; he’s enjoying life at the moment. It’s all about his ego and lavish lifestyle’.
