Ulrika Jonsson has confessed that her 15-year-old son was ‘upset’ after being taunted about her naked photos.
Mum-of-four Ulrika and her third husband, Brian Monet, have a son named Malcolm.
And, while Ulrika, 55, normally keeps her children out of the spotlight, she has now revealed the toll her celebrity is having on her son.
She said: ‘The other day, my youngest male Ungrateful – a hormonal 15-year old boy – confided in me that he’d been teased by some older boys at school about the fact that I “post nudes” on social media.
‘He was understandably upset and concerned.’
Ulrika went on in her columnin The Sun: ‘I quickly realised he was referring to a pic I posted of me buck-naked in the garden, covering my most important bits with a strategically placed wheelbarrow.’
While her image boosted awareness for the men’s mental health organisation StrongMen, Ulrika also stated that she was trolled, with individuals telling her she looked’scrawny and elderly, that I was attention-seeking, unhappy, and desperate.’
The presenter, who was addressing Ashley James’ powerful social media post about women being sexually objectified and how males are not subjected to the same scrutiny, went on to say, ‘This is par for the course when women show off any parts of their bodies or pose “sexily”.
‘We expose ourselves physically and we become targets for those who have opinions about our bodies.
‘Incidentally, Instagram took the picture down after a few weeks, comically alleging I was “soliciting sex” when all I was soliciting was awareness for men’s mental health,’ she continued.
‘But there you go. In short, we can’t win.’
Ulrika also has three children: Cameron, 28, Bo, 22, and Martha, 18.
She shared some family updates with followers last year, including photographs of her eldest son enjoying his birthday and her daughter happy after getting her A-level results.
