Ulrika Jonsson recently described a recent dating flop after meeting a man who didn’t react well to her having children.
The former Gladiators host has had a great time on her dating odyssey thus far, which has included ‘electrifying sex’ and even a trip on Celebs Go Dating.
She has already said why she likes to date younger men these days.
However, she just met an unpleasant man on a date who told what happened when he found she was a mother.
In her Instagram stories, Ulrika, 56, shared a selfie of her looking fed-up with the caption: ‘To the “mature” guy who told me after we met that if he’d known I had a 15-year-old son living with me, he “maybe” wouldn’t have met me #shameonyou.’
Ulrika has a son, Cameron Oskar George Turnbull, with ex-husband John Turnbull, a daughter, Bo Eva Coeur, with ex-boyfriend Marcus Kempen, and a granddaughter, Martha Sky Hope Gerrard-Wright, with ex-husband Lance Gerrard-Wright.
She also has a 15-year-old son, Malcolm, from her divorce from advertising executive Brian Monet, which concluded in 2019.
Ulrika previously stated how Malcolm was unhappy after being taunted about the naked images she put online.
‘The other day, my youngest male Ungrateful – a hormonal 15-year old boy – confided in me that he’d been teased by some older boys at school about the fact that I “post nudes” on social media,’ she explained in her column for The Sun.
‘He was understandably upset and concerned.’
Last year, the TV host said that she was going through menopause but was glad that it wasn’t affecting her sex life.
‘I’ve been dating the last year and a half, on and off… In terms of younger men, it’s not so much about preferring sex with them, but I have been dating younger,’ she told Closer magazine.
‘I’m not ageist by any means. I’m an equal opportunities dater, so by all means, apply! I’m 55 now, but I feel rejuvenated and energetic.’
Sharing an insight into her sex drive, she added: ‘I genuinely still feel as naughty silly and ridiculous as I ever did. I’m having HRT [hormone replacement therapy] for the menopause, but it hasn’t impacted my sex life at all.’
Ulrika, like millions of other women, tried dating apps but was unhappy when her Hinge account was suspended owing to others believing it was false and that someone was trying to be her.
‘Your account has been removed,’ a message from the service read.
‘You have been banned from using Hinge for violating our Terms of Service,’ it also stated.
Ulrika added in her own caption in the Instagram story: ‘Nice one Hinge. No reason. Maybe you should spend a bit more time banning the countless catfish I’ve had to endure.
‘I await your response Hinge.’
