Tyra Banks celebrated her 50th birthday on Monday by uploading a series of makeup-free images on Instagram.
The runway diva also shared some wise words with her social media fans, noting that ageing is a ‘gift,’ but many were more concerned with the fact that Tyra looked to have manipulated the photos.
People quickly noticed that the towering birthday cake in front of Tyra appeared to have been Photoshopped in and went to the comment area to question the A-lister what was going on.
One person wrote: ‘Is the cake supposed to be Photoshopped in? It’s bothering me.’
Another added: ‘But why is the cake edited in?’
‘Lol there’s no way that cake is real, that flame ain’t even moving,’ quipped someone else.
Other comments included: ‘Is this cake superimposed on the photo?’ and ‘That is not a real cake!’
Tyra has yet to confirm whether the cake is real, but she did convey a poignant message with her photographs.
Reflecting on the fact that some people are uncomfortable with the idea of getting older, she wisely wrote: ‘I gotta say, my mind is FIERCER THAN EVER. Wise, baby.’
Tyra added: ‘I think we have to look at aging and these big milestone years like, “I GET to be that age”. A Blessing.’
She went on: ‘If you’re younger than me, I HOPE you get to reach my age and BEYOND.
‘Because it feels damn good.’
The actress also shared some words of wisdom with her fans who may be feeling trapped in a rut.
‘You don’t have to stay stuck. You can start off doing one thing, and as the years go by, you switch that up,’ she penned.
Tyra concluded her message on a positive note, saying: ‘2024 is around the corner and we are gonna DREAM really BIG…together.’
