Rita Wilson has paid tribute to husband Tom Hanks on his 65th birthday, sharing a picture of the actor on his bike on Instagram, insisting that he is ‘better than ever’.
The actress, 64, posted a snap on Friday of Tom on a cycling trip, with the Hollywood star wearing a T-shirt and shorts as he stood surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and lush green hills.
He looked happy as he smiled at the camara with a sky blue bandana tied around his neck, adding a pair of sunglasses and a baseball cap.
Rita wrote: ‘Riding into 65 better than ever! Happy Birthday to the love of my life!’
Rita’s followers were quick to offer Tom their well wishes, with model Cindy Crawford, 55, writing: ‘Happy birthday!’
Screen siren Julia Roberts, 53, posted: ‘Happy Birthday to Tom!!! Love you both.’

Tom and Rita married in 1988 and share sons Chet, 30, and Truman, 25, together.
The lovebirds celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary in April this year.
To mark the milestone anniversary, the Jingle All The Way actress shared a picture of the couple looking loved-up as they posed outside together.
She captioned the snap on Instagram: ’33 years of marriage to my BFF, my lover, my man. Love wins.’
