The Undertaker has backed Dwayne Johnson to unify the United States if he runs for president.
The WWE legend – whose real name is Mark Calaway – knows The Rock from his iconic wrestling career, and he thinks his former rival has all the tools to make it to the White House.
He told TMZ: ‘That man works his tail off and he dives in wholeheartedly in everything that he does and if he gets his mindset that he wants to make a run at politics, ya know what? I think he’ll do it.’
The Dead Man – who officially retired and bid farewell to WWE at Survivor Series last year – also suggested Dwayne has was it takes to help the country heal after years of division.
He admitted: ‘I think so. He’s so charming, he’s so witty, I think he can be the uniter that people are looking for.
‘I know that he has the charisma. Maybe all it would take would be one eyebrow, and he’d look at the left, raise the eyebrow. Look at the right, raise an eyebrow and hit ’em with ‘the People’s Elbow…
‘I don’t know man, there’s so many possibilities and if that’s what he chooses to do, I’ll support wholeheartedly in his efforts to do so.’
If Johnson did decide to run, there would undoubtedly be a question mark over what people would call him in office.
‘I think people would still call him Rock,’ Taker said. ‘I don’t know. I would hope I would still have that clout that I can get away with calling him Rock, or jabroni.’
Undertaker’s comments come after Dwayne made it clear he’s serious about a move into politics if it’s ‘what the people want’.
He recently said: ‘I would consider a presidential run in the future if that’s what the people wanted. Truly I mean that, and I’m not flippant in any way with my answer.
‘That would be up to the people… So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear to the ground.’
