Joe Swash will be watching tonight’s The Masked Singer finale with eager eyes as he’s convinced that fiancée Stacey Solomon is secretly Sausage.
Viewers have been heavily debating on who could be under the costume ever since the ITV competition returned on Boxing Day – with the Loose Women star, Sheridan Smith and Joss Stone all linked to the outfit.
However, if the mum-of-three is unmasked under the giant sausage costume she’ll have a lot of explaining to do – as her beau will be livid at missing out on a jackpot.
Taking to her Instagram story, she shared a video as the pair painted a room in their house, where Joe could be heard fuming: ‘If you’re the Sausage tonight then not only will I have the hump but my mum, my pals, they could’ve all put bets on it.’
‘Oh Joe, come on,’ she said, as he replied: ‘I’m just saying, I’ll be very surprised if you haven’t told me.
‘At least then I’ll know that we can keep things from each other and I can start picked what I tell and what I don’t tell you…’
‘I would never not tell you anything,’ she insisted.
To which Joe added: ‘We’ll find out tonight when you’re the sausage.
Alongside the clips, Stacey penned: ‘Rex is napping so we are upstairs finishing the painting. And he’s still going on about this bloody Sausage.
‘Because his mum and his friends will be upset they could have put a bet on.
‘I honestly can’t wait for this to be over tonight.’
Well, luckily for Stacey (and Joe) we don’t have much longer to wait, as the finale kicks off at 7pm.
Sausage has baffled fans for weeks – with the former X Factor contestant among the names tipped to be under the mask.
But Gabrielle, who was revealed as Harlequin in last week’s show, threw us all for a loop when she teased that another X Factor alum may actually be taking part instead.
Chatting to Metro.co.uk, she told us: ‘You’re not allowed to see anyone and I’m rubbish.
‘But, I’m convinced that Sausage is Louisa Johnson.’
The Masked Singer UK finale airs on tonight, at 7pm, on ITV.
