Strictly Come Dancing’s Janette Manrara shows off baby bump as she dances with former contestant Ashley Roberts

Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara cradled her growing baby bump as she danced alongside former contestant Ashley Roberts.

Janette Manrara, 39, a dancer, is pregnant with her first child. She and her husband Aljaz Skorjanec, 33, shared the news last December. They were surprised by their baby as they were about to start IVF.

Janette will give birth in the summer. She posted some pictures on her Instagram page that show her growing bump and her friendship with Ashley Roberts, a Pussycat Doll.

In some of the snaps, Ashley kisses the dancer’s bump.

‘We love you Sister Susan,’ Janette wrote in the caption, using her nickname for her friend.

Janette also shared a video of them dancing together. She showed that she can still dance well even when pregnant. They did a mini routine to Conga by Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine.

She expressed her gratitude for having supportive friends like Auntie @iamashleyroberts who would be there for her baby, since her family was far away. ‘This baby is going to have so much fun!’ she wrote, and Ashley replied with ‘love u Sister Susan.’

Aljaz, another Strictly professional, shared how he was going through the ups and downs of his wife’s pregnancy journey.

The couple met in 2010 when they both performed in the live dance show Burn The Floor and got married in 2017 after seven years of dating.

Aljaz told OK! Magazine that he had always wanted to be a dad since he was 20 years old and that the timing of their pregnancy depended on Janette’s career.

‘With our careers, it was always going to be completely down to Janette’s timing.’

‘I keep saying the baby’s going to really become a Disney fan because even in the womb it’s listening to Disney.’
