Stacey Solomon surprises Joe Swash with amazing ‘man cave’ for his 40th birthday present: ‘You mean everything to us’

We all know Stacey Solomon loves all things interior design, and she’s frequently sharing her latest DIY projects on Instagram.

However, she went above and beyond like never before for Joe Swash’s 40th birthday present.

The Loose Women panelist, 32, surprised her fiancée with his very own ‘man cave’, complete with a pool table and a bunch of gadgets.

Sharing pics of her latest project on Instagram, the former X Factor star gushed: ‘Happy 40th Birthday DADDY We hope you had the best birthday ever and we can’t wait to make memories with you forever in your Den… You’re always doing everything you can to make us happy so making your man cave was just the best project ever.’

Alongside the snaps of their brood in the freshly-painted room, she added: ‘You mean everything to us. You’re the best dad, best friend & fiancé we could ever wish for. To the moon and back Joe, Always ’

Stacey finished with, ‘Now let’s get married ’ after the couple postponed their nuptials to allow all their children to be present.

The newly-transformed room is painted blue and decorated with memorabilia from special points in Joe’s career, after Stacey revealed she wanted to display his trinkets on a shelving unit in their home.

Photos show his I’m A Celebrity hat hanging on the wall next to his winner’s staff, a Celebrity Masterchef trophy and an Albert Square street sign as a nod to his time on EastEnders.

The ‘Cluedo room’ also features a giant cosy sofa with cushions which have ‘Daddy’s den’ printed on them.

Ever the lover of an inspirational quote, Stacey also had written on the wall: ‘We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing,’ well and truly encouraging Joe to be a big kid forever.

TV presenter Stacey also posted a video of the very moment Joe’s surprise gift was revealed to him, and it was such a wholesome moment.

Stacey wrote: ‘He was sooooo happy! He also was like “I’m scared to go in babe”. He was worried about his reaction.’

She blindfolded her partner as he walked into the room bewildered, after actually blocking the actor on Instagram so she didn’t spoil his milestone birthday surprise.

Stacey spent weeks preparing the room, and it seems their children all love it too, as Zach, Leighton, Harry and Rex all explored the room and jumped across the comfy sofa with their dad.

Joe cradled baby daughter Rose in his arms, who was born on Stacey’s 32nd birthday.

After sharing the mega gift with her five million followers, Stacey was inundated with comments of praise for her handiwork.

TV host Laura Whitmore wrote: ‘ Happy birthday Joe! What a present! X’

‘This is amazing! Happy birthday Joe!’ added Ashley James.

It seems Stacey and Joe are well and truly settled in Pickle Cottage now, and the couple even adopted a new puppy named Teddy last week to keep four-legged friend Peanut company.

Their new furry addition comes after Stacey was left ‘utterly heartbroken’ after her pet Theo died last month.
