Keepsakes and memory boxes may be a treasure trove for both parents and children, but Stacey Solomon has revealed that she still possesses her boys’ foreskins.
Stacey is a major hoarder for any object with an emotional connection, despite her propensity for decluttering and hosting the BBC’s Sort Your Life Out.
That apparently includes previously connected bodily parts – each to their own!
In 2021, the TV host revealed to preserving the artefacts, startling viewers with the emotional yet uncommon admission.
Stacey has sent an update for followers who were afraid that the foreskins had gone missing.
In a new interview, she said that she still keeps them’somewhere’ in her house, probably in the same spot she stored the umbilical cords.
‘I’ve got [the kids’] umbilical cords. I think I’ve got the boys’ foreskins somewhere,’ Stacey told The Mirror.
She has Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, from a previous relationship, as well as Rex, 4, Rose, 22 months, and Belle, five months, with Joe Swash.
Joe, who met Stacey on I’m A Celeb in 2016, is also the father to 15-year-old Harry, whom he shares with ex Emma Sophocleous.
Stacey continued: ‘They’ve all got each individual memory boxes. So I hold on to them in their memory boxes alongside little trinkets.’
Her children apparently find it strange that she has such an emotional relationship to these artefacts, but the former X Factor judge attributes this to their childhood.
She added: ‘For me, my emotional things are the kids’ memories. But we’ve been through our memory boxes before and they’re like, “Don’t even remember that, Mum, what is that?”
‘And I’m like, “That’s the ticket from that time we went to the cinema, don’t you remember?!” They say, “Nah, why’s that there?” Kids are brutal.’
