Stacey Solomon enjoyed her first Mother’s Day as a mother of five children, and she is feeling the love.

The former X Factor singer, who is now 33 years old, became a mother at the age of 17, when she gave birth to Zachary, whose father is Dean Cox.

Stacey is also the mother to 10-year-old Leighton from a previous relationship. She has Rex, 3, Rose, 1, and the newest addition, Belle, with her husband Joe Swash.

The pair is pleased to have a mixed family, since Joe has a 15-year-old son named Harry with his ex-girlfriend Emma Sophocleous.

In honour of Mother’s Day this year, Stacey, who has been a mother since a young age, wanted to express her pleasure in how she has nurtured her children, putting to rest the stereotype associated with adolescent mothers.

‘I’ve been a mum since I was 17 years old. I barley remember life before becoming mum,’ she wrote on Instagram, alongside a slew of gorgeous snaps with her family.

‘I do remember all of the looks I’d get & all of the things that people would say when they saw a “child raising a child”. I can’t believe I am now a mummy of 5.’

She continued in the defiant caption, “And all I can say is that none of those earlier assessments or views were accurate.”

‘No matter how real they felt I look at each of them now and I have never felt so proud. They are the kindest most amazing people and I was a part of that’.

Stacey went on: ‘Zachy, Leight, Rex, Rose, Belle You are all my biggest blessings. My greatest achievements. Every single one of you have made me who I am. I’m so grateful for you all. And it’s the biggest privilege raising you all. Forever my little pickles. To the moon and back always 🖤’.

She concluded: ‘Happy Mothers Day to all of you mum as out there. 🖤Sending lots of love to all of you who find today extremely difficult 😢’

In the comments, the Loose Women panellist was showered with affection from young mothers who could connect to her experiences.

‘I rarely make comments here but your post hit home. The judgments were real 38 years ago, it was the hardest time of my life but I would not swap it for anything. I’m so proud of my children and also proud myself. Any woman who survived a similar experience = massive respect. Xx’, one follower agreed.

‘Someone as happy and kind as you could only raise happy and kind babies ❤️❤️❤️xxx’, praised another.

‘You are an inspiration to your children ❤️ you became a mummy at a young age and look how far you have come ❤️you are incredible never stop reaching for the stars ✨’, one added.

This is not the first time that Stacey has silenced the critics of mothers.

The popular television personality recently had a manicure for the first time after the birth of her daughter, but not everyone was a fan.

In fact, one troll messaged Stacey to say that the nails were “very impractical” for parenting a child.

In typical Stacey fashion, she had the final laugh and murdered them with kindness.

‘Well, I think they’re really practical!’, Stacey said before laughing.

‘They’re great for tickles, head strokes… Belle’s absolutely loving them!’, she assured.

‘This one’s really good for picking out bogies,’ she chuckled, holding up her little finger.

‘Will I end up with poo underneath them at the end of every day? Probably! But, I’ve got a nail brush, I wash my hands, it’ll be fine!’

Stacey also added text to the video reading: ‘Have a day off Wilma. It’ll be ok, I promise’.

Stacey, never change.
