Sam Faiers has revealed that she and partner Paul Knightley have separate rooms and haven’t shared a bed for ‘a long time.’

The former Towie star sleeps in the spare bedroom with their newborn son Edward, who is the couple’s third child and was born in May.

She shed light on the sleeping arrangements in the Faiers-Knightley household, which are pretty flexible and the only important thing being that everyone gets plenty of shut eye.

Her confession comes after the couple joked back in 2018 that they wouldn’t be sharing a bed for ‘three years’ after starting a family.

Fans can rest assured too, as Sam clarified that there’s no trouble in paradise and her and Paul – whom she started dating in 2014 – are still very close.

Speaking with OK! magazine, Sam said: ‘In our household, anything goes.

‘We sleep in whatever beds to make sure everyone gets a good night’s sleep. Paul and I are so close anyway.’

The reality star added that they still ‘spend most of our days together and do everything together’ but sometimes she’d rather sleep with their little ones.

‘It’s funny because before Edward was born we had one night to ourselves where we shared a bed,’ she continued.

‘I was really tired and wanted to sleep, and he wanted the telly on late – he had some football to catch up on so the room was bright green.

‘And he’s on his phone, then when he goes to sleep he’s snoring. I was like: actually I much prefer sleeping with the kids!’

Sam, 31, also shares son Paul Jr., six, and daughter Rosie, four, with partner Paul.

The longtime couple’s youngest, Edward, was born at home earlier this year, with Sam announcing that she was in a ‘baby bubble’ upon sharing the happy news.

‘No words can describe how in love we are with you baby boy. I honestly can’t explain my feelings right now.

‘Mummy loves you more than you could ever imagine. In our baby bubble currently. be back soon’, she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Sam previously revealed she would be opting for another home birth after successfully having one with Rosie in 2017.
