Rylan Clark put on quite a show this weekend when he unveiled a new hairdo on Instagram.
The popular broadcaster, who is presently enjoying himself in Venice, Italy, took to Instagram to show off his lush locks.
On Saturday night, the 34-year-old began with a tease, posting a snapshot showing a section of his beard and mouth, as well as his white unbuttoned shirt and what looked to be flowing long brown hair.
He only used ellipses as a caption, but his admirers were immediately responding.
‘Practically the twin of Sam Ryder,’ commented one, referencing the 2022 Eurovision star for the UK, who is famed for his long hair and beard – although blonde.
‘JONATHAN VAN NESS???’ exclaimed another, while someone else was thinking more Hollywood as they replied: ‘Ok Jared Leto! 🔥’
Others recalled Rylan’s long hair when he was initially exposed to national TV viewers on a specific Saturday night singing competition.
‘You auditioning for x factor again?’ asked one joker.
Rylan then returned to his Instagram account to share another photo, this time showing off his new hair in all its splendour, split down the middle and running straight beyond his shoulders to mid-chest length.

‘Venezia,’ he wrote this time, again not really any clearer on what was going on with his barnet.
His friends and fans, on the other hand, were still enjoying the makeover.
‘❤️ Love it,’ commented singer Louise Redknapp, while Strictly Come Dancing professional Nancy Xuxi left a string of heart-eye emoji.
Slightly more bluntly – and clearly deciding Rylan was pulling all of our legs, Steps star Claire Richards added: ‘F***s sake 😂😂’
Comparisons continued, with some claiming he resembled Jesus, while Sam and Jared remained popular options.
However, perhaps the most obvious resemblance was finally commented on as one fan wrote: ‘Didn’t know I followed Conchita… 😉 xxx’
Others included Austria’s 2014 Eurovision Song Contest winner Conchita Wurst as well.
‘Seriously, stop Conchitirig [sic] about and get back to you radio show. Miss ya 💕,’ posted another.
Rylan said last month that he would be taking a sabbatical from his BBC Radio 2 show for a “good few weeks” to do “other bits and bobs.”
Some fans thought that he may replace Phillip Schofield on This Morning after his shocking departure, but no permanent successor to anchor with Holly Willoughby has been named.
The Big Brother star also put up his dancing shoes earlier this year with a regular presenting role on It Takes Two, the sister programme to Strictly Come Dancing.
Fleur East, a finalist in last year’s competition, was later named as his replacement, to work with co-host Janette Manrara.
Congrats @FleurEast have the best time xx

‘Congrats @FleurEast have the best time xx,’ Rylan tweeted after the announcement on Friday.
Rylan is presently shooting a BBC travel programme in Italy and Europe with Rob Rinder, 45, in which they follow in the footsteps of British aristocracy such as poet Lord Byron, who embarked on a “Grand Tour” of classical monuments and towns as they grew older.
Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour is yet to receive a broadcast date.
