Roman Kemp absolutely gutted after eating special Creme Egg worth £10,000

Roman Kemp has actually been left with egg on his face after consuming a £10,000 premium Creme Egg.

The 30-year-old host of Capital Morning enthusiastically tweeted Cadbury after discovering a white chocolate and milk chocolate variation of the iconic confection.

‘What is this??? HALF WHITE HALF MILK CHOCOLATE??’ he tweeted, accompanied by a picture of him holding the unusual snack to share with his 300k following.

Fans were quick to note, however, that the limited edition creme egg may be worth £10,000.

As part of a competition conducted by the firm, 146 Creme Eggs made of white and milk chocolate have been buried in shops around the United Kingdom.

Six of the eggs in question are for £10k, while the remaining three are worth £5k, as revealed by a “winning ticket” within each egg.

Roman shared a picture of his find online (Picture: Twitter / @romankemp

To collect the reward, you may be needed to provide a copy of the winning ticket and a photo of yourself holding the uneaten winning egg.

According to Roman, he had already consumed the egg before discovering its potential worth.

‘I HAVE ALREADY EATEN IT AND PEOPLE ARE SAYING ITS WORTH 10K!?’ he wrote, followed soon after with ‘I HAVE EATEN IT. WHAT DO I DO NOW? HELPPPPPPPPP.’

The star was quick to tell fans his predicament was no yolk with Twitter users dubious about his story.

‘PEOPLE SAYING ITS A PRANK OR THAT IVE TIPPEXED IT 😫 I F****** WISH,’ he wrote, while responding to another user that he ‘wishes’ the posts were part of an advertising campaign amid speculation.

When asked by one fan what it was like to eat £10k, he replied: ‘THIS IS NOT FUNNY. IT TASTES LIKE REGRET.’

It follows the earlier I’m A Celeb… Remove me from here! A participant disclosed that his bicycle had been stolen.

On March 13, just before 7 a.m., he announced through Twitter that it had been stolen.

Roman penned, “Good Monday to the person who took my bicycle.”

After the post, fans flooded his page with good wishes and expressions of hope that his bike would be returned.

Recently, Roman negotiated an unsettling scenario during his time on The One Show sofa when a guest cursed on television.

As part of the promotional tour for Shazam 2, which also included Zachary Levi and Dame Helen Mirren, Zachary accidently let a curse escape, prompting Roman to apologise to listeners at home.
