Rob Beckett says he’s going to ‘keep calm’ this time around (Picture: Instagram/robbeckettcomic)
Rob Beckett has promised there won’t be a repeat of his incredible night out for the England vs Germany football match earlier this week, with the comedian saying he’s not going to ‘go mental’.
We’ll believe it when we see it Rob!
The comic and podcaster summed up the nation’s feelings when he went all out for England’s 2-0 win against Germany, before ending up eating chicken by some bins (we’ve all been there).
However, with fans keeping an beady eye on his Instagram in the run-up to England vs Ukraine at the semi-finals, he’s issued a disclaimer.
‘I’m not going mental tomorrow, I’m not repeating what happened earlier in the week,’ he admitted on Instagram. ‘But I’m gonna have a couple of beers and be calm for next week.’
However, he followed the video up with another clip of him preparing his beers for the game – and we’re looking forward to seeing how that one ends.
Dad-of-two Rob isn’t the only star getting hyped for the game, with Louis Tomlinson penning on Twitter: ‘COME ON ENGLAND!!!!’
Piers Morgan shared a snap of himself suited and booted with England manager Gareth Southgate, writing: ‘No pressure, Gareth mate, but the hopes, prayers and morale of the entire nation now rest on your shoulders. Good luck!’
Meanwhile Three Lions (It’s Coming Home) hitmaker Frank Skinner was seen getting emotional at his own song on his radio show.
