Meghan King Edmonds is said to be ‘truly devastated’ over her shock split from Cuffe Owens, after two months of marriage.

The Real Housewives of Orange County favorite, 37, announced that her relationship with Joe Biden’s nephew, 42, had ended on Monday, in a statement on Instagram – but didn’t go into detail about what led to their break-up.

Tamra Judge explained she had reached out to her former RHOC co-star after the news broke, and shared an update on her Two T’s In A Pod podcast.

‘I did reach out to her and I’m not going to disclose what she said, but she’s devastated,’ the 54-year-old said.

‘She’s truly devastated. It’s not what she wanted so it’s sad.

‘Can you imagine publicly dealing with that? People are like, “Told you so,” or “That was too soon.” She’s probably dealing with all that, beating herself up and being sad.’

Tamra admitted she felt ‘bad’ over the split before joking: ‘I’m wondering, will the president be making an official statement?’

Meghan, who joined the Real Housewives in 2015 alongside ex-husband Jim Edmonds, announced that her marriage from Cuffe had ended earlier this week, just months after they secretly tied the knot.

‘I’ve been asked by many outlets and individuals to comment on the state of my marriage,’ she began a statement on her Instagram story. ‘I am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating.

‘This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows – and I’m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out. I am moving forward with my children as we privately process our pain and begin to let go of shattered dreams.

‘At this time I ask for your grace and gentle kindness as I navigate this labyrinth of grief with my family.’

Meghan met attorney Cuffe on a dating app and made things public in September, sharing a snap of them cuddling on Instagram.

‘Trying my best to avoid any cheesy introductions like “my main squeeze”… so just meet my man,’ she said at the time.

It was a whirlwind romance as they tied the knot two weeks later, with president Biden and First Lady Jill Biden in attendance,

‘We connected on a dating app, texted for a day or two, then spent five straight hours on the phone the first time we spoke,’ she told Brides magazine of their bond.

‘By the time that call ended, Cuffe was booked and packed for a flight to St. Louis that took off in about eight hours.

‘Within a week, we were back on the East Coast, meeting his family, and starting to plan our future together. We didn’t leave each other’s side for weeks.

This marks her third marriage, as she previously walked down the aisle with lawyer Brad McDill in 2007, before they officially separated four years later.

She later tied the knot with athlete Jim Edmonds in 2014, with their romance playing out on RHOC.

The pair welcomed three children together but split in 2019 – their divorce finalized in May of this year.
