After nearly driving off a cliff, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks stated that she was “beyond happy to be alive.”
The 51-year-old rushed to Instagram to describe her scary vehicle accident, including a photo and a video of a car stranded in a snowbank.
‘This shot was taken minutes before our driver, Brent, was miraculously able to manoeuvre the car onto the snowbank, as we were on our way to smash over a cliff in Utah,’ she said with the photograph.
‘This is a reminder to be grateful and count your blessings at all times. My best buddy and I were involved in an automobile accident that may have been lot worse. Kathy, Brent, and I are all unharmed.
‘Please be cautious on the roads, especially this season with the heaviest snow in Park City in decades.’
‘Many times in life, we fixate on things of minor consequence rather than being appreciative for the great things that we have,’ the RHOSLC OG ended in her message.
‘I am beyond happy to be alive and well.’
Many people, including some of her fellow Housewives, raced to give their support to the Bravo star in the comments section.
Son Brooks Marks penned: ‘Love you so much.’
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield said: ‘Oh nooo!!! Glad you all are safe.’
Jennifer Tilly replied: ‘Yikes! Glad you are safe!’
A follower agreed: ‘Well said. What a scare that must have been. I’m so glad you’re okay!’
‘Omg. So grateful to know everyone was safe. Be careful out there,’ another urged.
Meredith rose to popularity on the first season of RHOSLC, and became an instant fan favourite for her love of ‘disengaging’.
Despite the cast’s initial closeness, continuous conflict has shattered several ties in the group since the Bravo show debuted.
She discussed her aspirations for season four, saying that new blood in the group will change things up and bring everyone together.
“I think we need people who are going to help bridge the gap,’ Meredith told Page Six. Obviously, we’re very divided right now. That’s a problem.
‘It’s obviously really hard to have events and do things when we’re not getting along.
‘So hopefully we have some people who can come in, lighten the mood and bridge the gap.’
