Katie Price, Princess Andre’s mother, came under fire lately after the 16-year-old was caught toasting with a shot glass.
However, it has since been shown that Princess was not consuming alcohol.
The 45-year-old former glamour model went out to eat with her teenage daughter and on/off boyfriend Carl Woods, 34.
Photos from the event on Instagram showed the family grabbing drinks from a tray and hoisting them in the air for a ‘cheers.’
Because the shot cups contained pink liquid, it was first unclear whether Princess’s shot contained alcohol, which caused worry.
It is prohibited to sell or buy alcohol for a minor under the age of 18. It is also prohibited for minors under the age of 18 to consume alcohol in licenced establishments such as bars or restaurants.
However, people aged 16 and 17 are permitted to consume beer, wine, or cider with a meal if accompanied by an adult.
A source has recently come out and disputed that Princess was drinking.
The insider explained to The Mirror that the toast was ‘set up’.
‘Princess wasn’t drinking alcohol,’ they insisted.
‘She asked for Fanta and Coke to be on her table, this was just a cheers set up.’
The denial comes after another source stated Princess’s father, Peter Andre, would have been critical of the photo.
They told The Sun: ‘Peter won’t have been happy to see Princess out with her mum holding a shot glass.
‘Even if it wasn’t alcohol, it’s not the best look for a 16-year-old, especially one in the public eye.’
Pete, 50, is a devoted father to Princess and Junior, 18, whom he also shares with ex-wife Katie.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker recently disclosed the three severe guidelines he has for aspiring fashion model Princess now that she has a boyfriend.
Speaking to MailOnline, the former I’m A Celebrity campmate said the couple won’t be having any sleepovers at his house.
He added that they must, ‘be downstairs, the doors are open and it’s daytime’.
‘Any parenting tips or rules are only as good as they are in your house,’ Pete added.
‘My rules in my house are very straightforward. Everyone knows them, it’s not even a question.
‘With boyfriends or girlfriends, it’s downstairs, doors are open and it’s daytime. Down the line, if there is a sleepover, one can sleep downstairs.
‘We have younger children too and you don’t want them seeing things. If the relationship ends and then you bring someone else in, it doesn’t look right and as far as the little kids are concerned, it’s always a friend is over.’
Pete is also a dad to Amelia, nine, and Theo, six, who he shares with wife Emily.
