Serena Williams’ closest friends and family threw her a “pre-push party.”
The great athlete, 41, and her husband Alexis Ohanian are preparing for the arrival of their second daughter, Olympia, who is already five years old.
On Sunday, the soon-to-be mother-of-two shared a video of the shenanigans with supporters, explaining that the party was planned by her “friends and sister.”
Serena and co enjoyed a day of at-home facials, massages, and manicures, with the A-lister explaining: ‘Today we are having an amazing spa day that’s been planned by my friends and my sister.’
Serena quipped that her ‘pre-push party’ was all about ‘great friendships and great champagne… if you’re drinking it’.
Olympia also joined in the fun and had a facial.
‘I feel so loved today,’ Serena raved, adding: ‘Everyone’s here. Family’s here. We’re all just relaxed. I feel loved and relaxed.’
The world-famous tennis player also reflected on her emotions in the lead-up to becoming a mum of two, saying: ‘Baby number is on the way after, you know, lots of time waiting.
‘So, how am I feeling about it? Excited, anxious, nervous, happy… all of the above.’
Serena also revealed: ‘I don’t have my stuff ready, like the crib and the changing table and a plethora of other things.’
In May, she revealed her pregnancy on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2023 Met Gala in New York City.
Serena’s husband threw her an incredible gender reveal party last month, with drones spelling out the word “girl” in the sky.
Reddit co-founder Alexis, 40, had Olympia in his arms as he and his wife gazed to the skies, waiting for the gender of their baby to be announced by an astonishing drone light display.
Serena Williams smiled when the word “girl” was finally revealed in the night sky.
