Post Malone has been on a new weight-loss regimen since May 2022, and the effects look to be paying off.
The 28-year-old American rapper and songwriter revealed to his followers that he drastically changed his diet following the birth of his daughter 18 months ago.
Despite this, fans of the Rockstar hitmaker were alarmed when he looked to have dropped a significant amount of weight.
Despite his fans’ fears, Post Malone – actual name Austin Post – reiterated his father’s claims, claiming to be in wonderful condition.
He’s now posted another update with supporters, showcasing greater weight reduction progress and even introducing himself with a new name.
The Better Now singer wore a black leather jacket, a black shirt, black pants, glossy black shoes, and a casual baseball cap in an Instagram post.
He captioned the post: ‘Introducing Viceroy Chungus VonBattlepass, I love you,’ before including two emoji, one of a pint of beer and one of a love heart.
Since being posted on Tuesday, the post has received over 2.5 million likes as of Friday (September 1), with followers thrilled with his development.
One user asked, ‘Is he single? Asking for me,’ while many others complimented the new-look Post Malone before he took to the stage in Santiago, Chile.
Another social media user heaped praise on the rapper’s progress, joking: ‘Woah, my future wife is probably on this app, leave some for the rest of us please.’
Collaborator and fellow rapper Ty Dolla $ign, real name Tyrone Griffin Jr., also commented, saying, ‘What up, $lim!’, in reference to his appearance.
This newest development image is welcome news for Post Malone supporters who were concerned about his weight reduction earlier this year.
When asked what was the main cause for his weight reduction, he stated that dramatically reducing his soda consumption was a vital role in his progress.
The rapper is presently on a worldwide tour to celebrate the success of his album Austin, which was released earlier this year.
