Piers Morgan has sparked backlash after sharing his ideas on the Insulate Britain protesters who blocked roads on the Port of Dover ferry terminal this morning.
Around 40 activists have been pictured close to the port on Friday, which is Europe’s busiest ferry port and vital for each hauliers and holidaymakers, after they have been beforehand banned from inflicting chaos on the M25.
A clip of two males who have been sitting on the street at a set of site visitors lights was shared by former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers, as pissed off motorists confronted them over the disruption they have been inflicting as folks tried to get youngsters to high school and see household.
One lady was heard telling the protesters she’d ‘lost all respect’ for them, nonetheless the 2 activists held their positions and insisted it was a ‘short-term’ inconvenience for the larger image.
Sharing his personal ideas on the protesters, Piers wrote on Friday: ‘Just drive over them.
‘Fewer people is good for the planet anyway. Win-win.’
