Pamela Anderson says Tim Allen had ‘no bad intentions’ amid allegations he flashed her on Home Improvement set

After allegations surfaced that Tim Allen had exposed himself to Pamela Anderson on the set of Home Improvement, Anderson came to Allen’s defence.

The 55-year-old Baywatch star, who played Lisa the Tool Girl, co-starred with the 23-year-old Toy Story actor on the show.

According to excerpts from her forthcoming biography acquired by Variety, she alleges that her 37-year-old coworker ‘pulled up his robe’ while ‘totally nude’ and flashed her.

Even though Allen denied the accusations, she still believed he had “no malevolent intentions,” so she assured him that she believed he was innocent.

‘I’m not a very judgmental person,’ she told the publication in a candid interview, before adding over text message: ‘Tim is a comedian, it’s his job to cross the line. I’m sure he had no bad intentions.

‘Times have changed, though. I doubt anyone would try that post #MeToo. It’s a new world.’

On Tuesday, Anderson’s memoir Love, Pamela will hit shelves, and in it, she discusses the alleged occurrence.

‘On the first day of filming [Home Improvement], I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe,’ she reportedly wrote. ‘He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath.

‘He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked.

Allen then allegedly told her, ‘Now we’re even,’ causing her to ‘laugh uncomfortably’.

The actor sent a statement to the media site denying Anderson’s accusations, saying, ‘No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing.’

The ex-Playboy model’s biography is a detailed look back at her life, from her romance with Tommy Lee to her time spent in Hollywood.

On the Howard Stern programme, she elaborated on the effects of this, saying that she put on nearly two stone while writing.

‘I went through kind of a crazy time writing the book. I put on like 25 pounds [1.7 stone],’ she shared.

‘I look back at it and I see how it was the “book process” […] it was crazy! I had a physical reaction to telling my story. It was almost like I was hanging on to something – it was protective. My puffy suit of armor.

‘I don’t know what it was – I was thinking it was some kind of protection. It wasn’t like I was eating any different, I’m vegan, I eat nuts and berries, you know, I don’t eat a lot. But my body was changing!’
