Olly Murs told out about his recent wedding to long-term love Amelia Tank, revealing that it was a very emotional day.
Over the weekend, the 39-year-old singer married 31-year-old fitness model Amelia in the popstar’s native Essex.
Olly confessed that as he met eyes on his wife as she glided down the aisle, he battled and failed to hold back his tears.
The celebrity couple opted to hold their wedding ceremony at a quiet location on Osea Island in the Blackwater Estuary.
‘I was on the verge of sobbing at any point,’ he said of the major event that occured minutes before he became a husband for the first time.
The former X Factor star continued telling Hello magazine: ‘When my nephews walked down the aisle, I was gone, then when Amelia came in – oh my God!
‘My mum said she hasn’t seen me cry like that since I was four years old!’
Olly proposed to Amelia in June of last year during a family trip to Cornwall, months before their wedding.
Three days after asking Amelia to marry him, the musician dropped down on one knee on a clifftop and posted the good news on social media.

Olly and Amelia were engaged on a clifftop on a family vacation to Cornwall on June 4, 2022, and announced the news three days later on social media.
‘When we got engaged, my granddad was in Cornwall with us,’ Amelia told the newspaper.
‘He grabbed my shoulder and recited: “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?” I asked him to read it at the wedding because it was such a special moment.’
Olly’s wedding was appropriately star-studded, with guests including TOWIE’s Mark Wright and the singer’s house band, which featured Katie Holmes-Smith, who is currently singing with Adele in Las Vegas while she fulfils her residency obligation.
The ceremony had a festival-chic dress code, and more than 70 guests were carried out to the island on Sunday before of the more traditional components of Murs fest.
