Nicole Scherzinger enjoys uploading bikini photos from her vacations, but the most recent ones have sparked outrage among followers.

As the aftermath of the Maui wildfires leaves residents grieving, the former Pussycat Doll has been chastised for ‘insensitive’ photos.

Last week, fire scorched Hawaii’s second-largest island, displacing thousands and killing an estimated 93 people.

She posed along the edge of an infinity pool in a cut-away white bikini, appearing incredibly gorgeous – except for a stupid posture for the final shots.

‘Swipe ⬅️ to see the real me in the last two slides. 😑 Real goof girl S**t 💁🏽‍♀️,’ Nicole captioned the post.

However, fans thought the pictures were in poor taste given that the former X Factor judge was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Nicole, who just got engaged to Thom Evans, grew up on the Hawaiian island of Oahu until the age of six, when she relocated to Kentucky with her family.

She did post an homage to those who died before her vacation images, writing, ‘Sending prayers to Maui Link below to join the campaign.’

However, three days later, she was back to publishing her typical stuff, which irritated some admirers.

Her post was inundated with vehement criticism of Nicole, prompting her to disable all comments 13 hours later.

Fans compared the reaction to the 45-year-old’s swimsuit photos to those of other prominent Hawaiian actors, such as Jason Momoa and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Her Moana co-star, Dwayne, said he was ‘completely heartbroken’ and added: ‘I have been speaking with organizations on the ground, who have boots on the ground, and I will continue to get as much information as possible,’

Before comments were removed, one angry fan wrote: ‘I don’t want to seem somehow. It doesn’t change anything but I just think it’s a bit insensitive bearing in mind what’s happening in your country.”

Someone else said: ‘Time to stop and support Hawaii , show us your doing something instead of posting pictures in bikini.’

Others did offer support to Nicole, saying it was ‘completely fine’ as she had already addressed the Hawaiian crisis and the fires weren’t her ‘responsibility’.
