Nick Jonas has provided a fresh update on his baby daughter Malti Marie after she spent the first 100 days of her life in NICU – and it’s good news.

The actor and musician, 29, along with his wife Priyanka Chopra, 39, welcomed their daughter back in January after a surrogate pregnancy.

But there were complications for little Malti Marie, who spent over three months in hospital after being born and only returned home in late May.

Nick recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and revealed how happy he was to have his daughter home for the first time.

And now, after Malti Marie has spent over a month at home, he’s shared some more information that will delight fans who were worried about her condition.

‘All is good,’ he said, speaking at this year’s ACC Golf Championship in Nevada, going on to say that being a dad has been ‘life-changing’.

He told ET: ‘[Malti Marie] is amazing. She brings me a lot of joy’.

Actress and model Priyanka was not present at the gold tournament but Nick told reporters that his wife had recently started to join him on the course.

‘She’s picking the game up. She looks great in the golf clothes, so she loves that part’.

Priyanka took to Instagram earlier this week to share a loving tribute to Malti Marie with her 80 million followers.

’22 years and counting, and now with our babies,’ she captioned the post, which also featured a lifelong friend of Priyanka’s.

In addition to the good news about Malti Marie, now five months old, Nick promised fans of The Jonas Brothers that new music is on the way.

‘We’re working on stuff now and [Kevin and Joe are] feeling really good. Hopefully, some stuff is coming later this year’.

Joe Jonas, 32, and his wife, actress Sophie Turner, 26, welcomed their daughter Willa into the world in July 2020, and are expecting another very soon.

Meanhhile Kevin, 34, the oldest of the multi-talented sibling trio, has two children, aged five and eight, with wife Danielle Deleasa, 35.

When asked whether all four Jonas children would be joining the band on any future tours, Nick said: ‘A lot of kids! They’re everywhere and we love it.’
