On International Women’s Day, Molly-Mae Hague sent a moving letter to her daughter Bambi.
On January 23, the former Love Island star gave birth to her daughter with partner Tommy Fury.
Taking to Instagram, doting parent Molly claimed her daughter was ‘strong’ and that ‘her feelings count’.
The PrettyLittleThing creative director re-posted a statement written by an artist called Kerry, better known online as Murphy’s Sketches, that read: ‘My daughter… is strong. Her voice may be heard. Her emotions are important. She is free to wear anything she likes. She is free to say anything she likes. She is free to be anyone she wants to be.’
Molly also shared a sweet snapshot of herself holding Bambi with the classic quote: ‘Here’s to strong women. We hope to get to know them. We hope to be them. ‘Permit us to nurture them.’
The reality star’s powerful tweets came just a day after she celebrated another parenting milestone, her first night away from Bambi.
Once baby Bambi reached six weeks old, her mum decided to try taking her away overnight for the first time – and happily everything turned out well, with Molly dubbing it ‘a success’.
‘First night away with my tiny child,’ she posted on Instagram. It was a huge success!’
Molly also posted a photo of herself wearing a long black coat and big boots while carrying Bambi, who was dressed in white, in their hotel room.
Molly recently said that she has been ‘winging it’ as a new mother.
In a tweet meant to soothe other new parents, the influencer also claimed she was’surprised’ by how’super-challenging’ transitioning to parenthood had been for her.
‘The last two days have been the first time I’ve felt like I’m marginally regaining control of my life,’ she acknowledged on Saturday night.
‘Up until this point I’ve literally just been winging my way through each day, not finding it particularly easy at all (to be honest)… waking up in the morning/going to bed at night thinking “here we go again”.’
The new mum then added that newborn life is ‘absolutely no joke!’
