Miley Cyrus sent fans into meltdown on Sunday when she unveiled her killer hair transformation.
The 30-year-old revealed she’d gone back to her brunette roots in a new social media post, delighting her followers while she was at it, with one Miley diehard going so far as to say they’d been waiting for her to dye her hair brown for a decade.
Uploading a handful of new snaps to mark designer Sabato De Sarno’s Gucci debut over the weekend, Miley wrote on Instagram: ‘Congratulations on your beautiful debut show as creative director @Gucci.’
The hitmaker added: ‘Your stunning heart was shown in every stitch. I love you & am so proud. Now give me everything.’
Rave reviews quickly piled up beneath Miley’s post, with one person exclaiming: ‘OMG YOU ARE TOTALLY BROWN AGAIN. FINALLY. I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT FOR LIKE 10 YEARS.’
Another person added: ‘Finally went brunette yasss!’ while someone else echoed, ‘BRUNETTE IS BACK!’
Other social media users wrote: ‘OMGGGGGG THE NEW ERA’ and ‘OBSESSED WITH YOUR HAIR OMGG.’
Miley has been sporting bleached blonde hair in recent years, so it’s no surprise that her admirers were overjoyed to find she’d changed things up.
Miley recently shared the moment she realised her marriage to Liam Hemsworth was finished.
Since meeting on the set of The Last Song in 2009, the former Disney child star had been with actor Liam, 33, for over a decade.
The pair married in December 2018, shortly after their shared house burnt down in a wildfire, after being engaged, split, then reconciled, but parted less than a year later.
Earlier this month, the Flowers singer spoke out about their marriage and divorce in the new TikTok series Used To Be Young, admitting she realised their marriage was finished while playing at Glastonbury 2019.
She shared: ‘The day of the [Glastonbury] show was the day that I had decided that it was no longer going to work in my life to be in that relationship.’
Miley described it as ‘another moment where the work, the performance, the character came first,’ and has since tried to change her priorities so the ‘human comes first.’
Miley and Liam divorced after eight months of marriage, just after celebrating their ten-year wedding anniversary, albeit they had previously parted.
The pair met on the set of the romance film The Last Song, which was released in 2010, and were engaged in 2012 before splitting up in 2013.
They reconnected three years later, with Miley seen wearing her engagement ring again in 2016, before marrying in a secret ceremony in front of family and close friends in 2018.
