Matthew Perry made it Instagram official with his fiancee Molly Hurwitz but it was all for a good cause as she had the pleasure of modelling his Friends charity merchandise.
The couple got engaged earlier this month after two years of dating and it looks as though they’re ready to be a little more open about their relationship.
Matthew, who famously played Chandler Bing in the iconic sitcom, shared his first photo of Molly on his Instagram account yesterday. She’s seen posing in a black T-shirt with a slogan in the style of Chandler’s trademark wit: ‘Could this be any more of a T-shirt.’
‘You don’t have to pose this way while wearing the shirt, but please feel free,’ Matthew captioned the image referring to Molly, 29, raising her long hair above her head.
Her photo shoot wasn’t over as Matthew later shared a funny snap of his partner holding up a banana to her ear and modelling a black cap, which said: ‘What is this, a baseball cap?’
Matthew told his followers: ‘Hats?!? Banana still not included.’
The merchandise is for a charitable cause with proceeds going towards the World Health Organisation’s coronavirus relief efforts.
Matthew, 51, had previously shared a photo of himself also holding up a banana to his ear while wearing a white T-shirt with images of Chandler dancing.
The Odd Couple actor announced the joyful news of his engagement to Holly last week in a statement to People.
‘I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time,’ he said sweetly.
Matthew’s merchandise has only stirred anticipation for the upcoming Friends reunion, which has suffered delays due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Set to air on HBO Max, the special will see Matthew reunited with his co-stars Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (Monica Gellar), David Schwimmer (Ross Gellar), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani) and Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay).
However fans aren’t completely in the dark as Matthew recently confirmed the air date, which is currently scheduled for the beginning of March, so there’s not too much longer to wait.
