Poor Matthew McConaughey looked horrendous in a new snap he shared on social media after losing a fight with…a bee.
Matthew, 54, did not feel ‘alright alright alright’ when he posted a photo of his swollen face on social media.
The actor grinned in the photo, revealing that his eye had fully swollen shut and appeared extremely bloated in compared to the other side of his face.
The Dallas Buyers Club star captioned the photo with a little joke: ‘Bee swell.’
This letter emphasised that the injury was an allergic reaction to a bee sting rather than something more serious.
Although bee stings are harmful, the gorgeous actor’s grin indicated that he was alright.
Fans flocked with their concern for the star’s minor injury, with footballer David Beckham leading the comment section with a message that read: ‘Ouch @officiallymcconaughey.’
Bear Grylls joked: ‘Oh yeah brother! I’ve been there… 
’ referencing the time he was also stung by a bee and his entire face was unrecognisable because it was so swollen.
Cindy Crawford commented on the post: ‘Ouch!’
Twilight star Peter Facinelli commented with a winking joke: ‘ back at ya.’
Matthew’s outfit was significantly different from his regular Hollywood heartthrob image.
The actress is well-known and adored for her role in the rom-coms of the 2000s. During his early career, he worked on How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Wedding Planner, and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
He also set hearts racing as a stripper named Dallas in Magic Mike (2012), another memorable role for the Oscar-winning actor.
Before posting this bee sting update on social media, Matthew celebrated his son Levi’s 16th birthday.
