‘I put on 30 pounds after for another film, that was really difficult. I’m not getting younger,’ he added.
Taking to Instagram in May, Mark showed off his dramatic weight change for the role.
The Departed star shared shocking before-and-after comparison photographs, and revealed in the caption he’d gained 13.5kg (30 pounds) in six weeks for the role of boxer-turned priest Stuart Long.
In the caption, he wrote: ‘From this 3 weeks ago, to this, now. Thanks to @chef_lawrence_d cooking.’
