Madonna has reportedly split from her toyboy boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams after three years of dating.
The singer, 63, is said to have parted ways with her dancer beau, 28, with whom she had a 35-year age gap after finding things were not working out, and have not been spotted together since January.
The pair started dating in 2019 and Madonna is said to have ‘thrown herself into’ spending time with her friends and family after the split, as well as working on new music and her upcoming biopic.
A source told The Sun: ‘Things have been on and off with Ahlamalik for a while. There’s a lot of love but for now they have decided to separate.
‘They are still on good terms and there are no hard feelings but they are at different places with their lives.’
The insider added that after spending months together in lockdown and on tour, Ahlamalik has now moved out of Madonna’s home after they struggled to keep their ‘romance alight’ while working on different projects.
Madonna appeared to allude to the split on her Instagram story on Tuesday, sharing a cryptic post which read: ‘Karma said: When somebody in your life is not right for you….. god will continuously use them to hurt you until you become strong enough to let them go.’
She and Ahlamalik first met in 2015 when he was a dancer on her Rebel Heart tour and got together in 2019.
His father Drue, 61, said in 2019 that he supported the relationship, explaining: ‘She told us she is so much in love with him and that we didn’t have anything to worry about as she was going to take care of him.
‘We know there’s a huge age gap between the two. Madonna is two years older than me. I asked him how he feels about her and he says he has never been happier.’
