Amy Hart of Love Island has provided an update on her baby son after admirers detected a ‘blue tint’ around his mouth.
After revealing her pregnancy in August, the 30-year-old had her first child in March with partner Sam Rason.
The former air hostess called the cute tot Stanley after her grandfather, and Molly-Mae Hague gushed about it.
Since giving birth, the reality TV star has documented her experience as a first-time mother with her 1.1 million Instagram followers.
Amy mentioned in her most recent Story that her viewers had seen a ‘blue tint’ around Stanley’s mouth in a prior video in which he was in his Moses basket.
She explained: ‘Lots of you messaged last night about the blue tinge around Stanley’s mouth in the video of him in the Moses basket.
‘Lots said it could be trapped wind, some said it could be cyanosis which could have been more serious.
‘We got him checked out and all fine. He’s very lucky to have so many people looking out for him so thank you.’
According to the NHS, cyanosis occurs when there is insufficient oxygen in the blood or when blood circulation is inadequate, and it might be an indication of a serious condition.
If your or your child’s lips, tongue, face, or skin suddenly turn blue or grey, the government advised calling 999 or going to A&E.
Amy participated on the ITV2 dating programme in 2019 and has since been honest about her experience with egg freezing after finding that she is likely to experience early menopause.
She was seeking IVF on her own before meeting Sam in 2021, wanting to ensure she’d be able to have her own family.
