Lily Allen was finally able to get started on her Christmas shopping this weekend after being forced to isolate her daughter following a coronavirus outbreak in her school.
The Smile singer headed to Bond Street, central London on Saturday with husband David Harbour.
Wearing similar black coats and matching face masks, the couple dipped in and out of the shops while no doubt stocking up on their Christmas presents.
Stranger Things actor David, 45, was seen carrying Selfridges’ recognisable yellow bag after treating a loved one – or himself – to something expensive.
Earlier in the week, Lily, 35, revealed she would have to push back her Christmas shopping plans after one of her daughters was told to stay home.
Another child in their school class had tested positive for Covid-19 so teachers had to deliver the news to parents that the kids would have to isolate.
Lily – who shares daughters Ethel, nine, and Marnie, seven, with ex-husband Sam Cooper – told her Instagram followers: ‘When you get that Sunday night email telling you someone in your kid’s class has got Covid, so you’ll be needing to self isolate your child for two weeks.
‘Lucky I haven’t got a f**k ton to do before Xmas!!!!’
Forced to now put her Christmas shopping on the back burner, Lily jokingly gave the camera a thumbs up as she shared her reaction to the news on social media. She teased: ‘So glad I’ve been efficient with Xmas present shopping this year. NOT!!!!’
The news came not long after Lily, David and the rest of England emerged from a second lockdown.
The happy couple, who secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas in September, were at least able to enjoy a date night after the restrictions were lifted and headed for a swanky dinner at Scott’s restaurant in Mayfair, London.
