After his recent health issues, Liam Payne is feeling all the love as he celebrates his 30th birthday.
After being hospitalised with a major kidney illness, the One Direction star stated that he would be postponing his forthcoming tour, which was set to begin in South America on September 1.
Fans were given refunds, and Liam promised a ‘better’ concert when he was healthy enough to devote to it.
He has now expressed gratitude for his fans’ good wishes. ‘Thank you for all the birthday greetings,’ he posted on X, previously Twitter. Thank you for all of your support over the last several days.’
‘This really is the last thing I wanted to be telling you, but essentially, I’ve been a little bit sick recently and I ended up in hospital with a terrible kidney infection,’ Liam said in a video on Instagram over the weekend.
‘We started rehearsals and I’ve just been advised that now’s really not the right time to be out on the road while I recover from this.’
He also assured followers that he is surrounded by the ‘greatest people’ who are assisting him in his recovery.
