Lauren Harries has been in the hospital for nearly two months, with her most recent procedure being high-risk spinal surgery.
The 45-year-old Celebrity Big Brother 2013 contestant has had a difficult few months, having undergone emergency brain surgery in April.
Unfortunately, Lauren’s recuperation has not been easy, as she spent time in critical care after catching infections and is now unable to walk without help.
She too very recently awoke after being placed in a coma due to seizures.
Lauren’s mother said in her most recent post that her daughter had a ‘unsuccessful’ spine surgery.
An MRI revealed a split in Lauren’s spine, necessitating surgery.
‘Lauren has undergone Spinal Surgery owing to a crack in her spine,’ stated a tweet on Saturday (July 1).
‘This was very painful, It’s worrying as the spine is the most dangerous place to have an operation next to the brain.
‘Unfortunately the surgery was unsuccessful so drs are looking into other options.’
Katy continued: ‘She’s been in hospital now for over 2.5 months. Her spine is concerning for doctors and she will be staying for longer.
‘We don’t know why or how this happened.
‘She just wants to get home.’

The update on Lauren’s health comes after she suffered her ‘worst seizure yet’.
Lauren’s mother posted a picture of Lauren outside the hospital in her wheelchair on social media on June 23.
The young antiques expert remained elegant in a pink satin outfit and huge eyeglasses, with a Louis Vuitton scarf around her hair.
She is presently wearing a wig after losing her curly hair after her original surgery.
‘Lauren has had the worst seizure yet, she was awake for the whole thing’, her Katy wrote.
‘She said it was the most terrifying thing she’s been through. She is unable to walk and has curled toes due to a split in her spine an MRI has shown.’
It was added that the kind words from her fans were keeping Lauren’s ‘spirits high’.
‘She loves you all’, Katy said.
