Kylie Jenner‘s loved ones took a journey down memory lane to mark her 26th birthday, and it served as a reminder to their fans of how much the reality star has changed over the years.
On Thursday, the cosmetics entrepreneur turned 26 and was showered with congratulations from her sisters, including Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, as well as her mother, Kris Jenner.
While Kylie spent the day swimming and revelling in the lovely Californian sunlight, her family was busy digging out childhood images of the mother-of-two.
Kylie was fresh-faced and make-up-free, and she looked nothing like the lady we know now.
Alongside her series of flashbacks, Kim, 42, wrote: ‘My baby! I see these pics and my heart melts! You are so silly and always knew what you wanted out of life! You never ever wavered and that’s just like you today!
‘The most beautiful eyes and sweetest freckles and I can hear baby Kylie’s voice still! I love being your big sister and will always be here for you no matter what!!!! Happy 26th Birthday @kyliejenner.’
Kim’s followers were blown away by images of the young Kylie, with one joking: ‘Kim you make sure you remind Kylie of her former self every Birthday.’
Another quipped: ‘I know she mad you uploaded these pictures.’
‘She was so cute!!’ another fan recalled, while another summed up all our feelings about Kylie getting older: ‘I cannot believe she is 26.’
After years of rumours about her significantly altered appearance, Kylie acknowledged to undergoing cosmetic surgeries.
In a recent episode of reality series The Kardashians, Kylie confessed: ‘I got my breasts done before Stormi. Within six months of having Stormi – not thinking I would have a child when I was 20 – they were still healing.
‘I had beautiful breasts, natural tits, just gorgeous, perfect size, perfect everything. I just wish I never got them done to begin with.’
She added: ‘I would recommend anyone thinking about it to wait until after children.’
During a candid conversation with several of her sisters in a previous episode, Kylie revealed that she suffered from body concerns.
‘I just feel like we have huge influence and what are we doing with our power?’ she told Kourtney and Khloe.
‘I think I just see so many young girls on the internet now, fully editing. I went through that stage, too, and I feel like I’m in a better place. But other people can instill insecurities in you.’
The lip kit queen then told the camera: ‘We all have our little things, it’s normal to be insecure sometimes, but I always remember being the most confident kid in the room. I always loved myself, I still love myself.
‘One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false. I’ve only got fillers.
‘I don’t want that to be a part of my story. I will always want everyone to just love themselves.’
