Kylie Jenner debuted her new Bratz doll line on Wednesday, but many were quick to attack the toy’s skin tone.
Bratz, which is owned by toy manufacturer MGA Entertainment, revealed earlier this week that it will launch its first celebrity partnership, with 25-year-old reality star Kylie as the face of the campaign.
However, immediately after the limited-edition collection was unveiled, some took to Twitter to wonder why Kylie’s doll’s skin tone was “too dark.”
One person tweeted: ‘Why tf are kylie jenner’s bratz dolls black?????!!’
Another echoed: ‘Why Kylie Jenner got a bratz doll? And why does it look black?’
Someone else wrote: ‘I just wanna kno why Kylie Jenner Bratz Doll is brown-skinned.’
Other comments included: ‘I’m trying to figure out why this kylie jenner bratz doll is a light-skinned black woman?’ and ‘How yall gonna make a bratz doll collection with kylie jenner and all of em look black? NEXTTTT.’
The ‘Bratzified’ images of Kylie Jenner feature the beauty entrepreneur in some of her most renowned outfits, including the lilac Versace gown she wore to the 2019 Met Gala.
Kylie rushed to Instagram on Wednesday to advertise the dolls, admitting she got them for her daughter Stormi.

Kylie has been romantically connected to the Wonka actor, 27, in recent months, following the breakdown of her relationship with Travis Scott.

According to reports, the Dune actor has already met the Kardashians star’s loved ones, including momager Kris Jenner and sister Kendall, who are overjoyed with the romance.
