While Kris Jenner may have cleared out all the florists in Calabasas with her collection of bouquets on Mother’s Day, she’s also received backlash from fans for her gushing response to Tristan Thompson’s blooms.
The 66-year-old manager and reality TV star posted several images of her Mother’s Day deliveries, as her children and their respective partners – past and present – showed some love for the ‘momager’ on Sunday.
In there was a lavish collection of pink and white roses she’d received from Khloe’s Kardashian’s on/off partner Tristan, along with the message: ‘Thank you Tristan! Love you.’
Following Kris’s response, fans branded her message ‘disrespectful’ after the NBA sportsman – who shares three-year-old daughter True with Khloe – was forced to apologise to the reality star after it was found he’d fathered a child with another woman.
In a Reddit thread, one fumed alongside a snap of the flowers: ‘I feel like this would be so disrespectful. If I had a daughter in Khloe’s position, I’d keep it civil for the sake of their child, but never openly accept gifts/affection.’
Another added: ‘How, as a mother, can you associate with someone who embarrassed your daughter and treated her like trash. Like, how?’ while one wondered whether this meant Khloe and Tristan were back together.
They wrote: ‘Broooooooo. Nooooo. Whyyyy Kris?! This makes me think khloe and [Tristan] are back together.’
Kris had been bombarded with beautiful bouquets of flowers from friends and family, including her children Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and their respective partners, including Kim’s boyfriend Pete Davidson, Kourtney’s fiancé Travis Barker and her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.
To every gift of flowers, she had replied with a ‘thank you’ and ‘love you’.
Kris also shared a sweet throwback photo of herself with all five of her children on Instagram, along with a more recent one of them all together.
She added the caption: ‘Being a mother and grandmother is my greatest joy in life. @kourtneykardash @kimkardashian @robkardashian @khloekardashian @kendalljenner @kyliejenner you are my purpose, my inspiration, my life, my very heart and soul!!!
‘I thank God every day for making me your mom and for blessing me with so much love!’
She continued: ‘I am so proud of each of you. To my beautiful daughters who are mommies, @kourtneyKardash @kimkardashian @khloekardashian @kyliejenner, you all inspire me and teach me new things about motherhood every day.
‘You are the best mommies and I couldn’t be more proud of you! I am so blessed with beautiful grand babies who fill my life with more joy than I could have ever dreamed of, and I love you all more than words can say!! Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there.

It comes after the latest episode from Disney Plus’ The Kardashians (which was filmed in October 2021), in which Khloe revealed she and Tristan were still working on their relationship.
In one scene, Khloe tells fans: ‘I’ve been through so much with Tristan, we both have – he’s been through a lot as well. The truth is that we are always working on ourselves, we are going to therapy and, listen, even baby steps are steps, so I’m just hoping for a little bit of progress every single day.’
Khloe also made light of the awkward scenes – filmed prior to the news Tristan had become a dad again – by tweeting: ‘Well we know how this aged #TheKardashians.’
