Kim Kardashian, who is always quick to jump on a social media fad, has now created her own, extremely extravagant, version of the light-hearted ‘of course’ trend on TikTok.
In a Wednesday video, the 43-year-old showed fans around her SKKN BY KIM workplace. Mariah Carey working out in full glam and heels exemplifies the ‘of course’ style.
However, some people claimed that Kim was ‘wasting’ money when she displayed her 3-D replicas of’my brain and my plane’, a corridor packed with her magazine covers ‘covering’ her walls, a large TV wall with her beauty commercials on loop, and other items.
‘I’m Kim Kardashian… of course I have my mannequin with my custom measurements in my glam room,’ the reality TV mogul – who wore a fluffy robe for the vid – shared to fans as she gave them a glimpse of her glamorous set-up.
Kim also showed viewers her ‘custom Rick Owens’ office, a ‘product shrine’, and her red light and tanning beds.
The Kardashians star, who is no stranger to internet criticism, used the video to sell her new lip liners collection, which will be available ‘in 15 various nudes’. At the end of the video, she flung them on the floor in a mic drop style.
Despite many admirers expressing their adoration for the celebrity, others encouraged Kim to’read the room’ because there are clearly many people struggling throughout the world right now.
@Keeksunflz4 wrote in the comments section: ‘I’m Kim kardashian and I’m so out of touch with the world.’
Jamil Jwess added: ‘I’m Kim Kardashian of course I have plenty money to waste.’
Penny Rust commented: ‘I’m Kim Kardashian, of course I’m out of touch with reality.’
Another TikTok user using the name my opinion wins posted: ‘I’m Kim Kardashian, people are starving and freezing to death but I don’t care. Me me me.’
Olivia Dickson urged: ‘Read the room- theres people struggling [sic].’
This definitely isn’t the first office tour Kim has treated fans to – and it’s always as extra as you’d expect.
In August 2022, the fashionista gave social media users a glimpse of her 40,000 square foot SKKN space, which included an ampitheatre room, photo studio, and two kitchens.
Just like her house, Kim’s tone for the office is very neutral.
‘We do so many photoshoots here that I wanted a space where if we’re doing content, they’ll be enough space for all of the models and, of course, some SKIMS robes and stuff for tailoring and a chill area,’ Kim explained at the time.
