The 42-year-old unveiled her new hair on Instagram while promoting her current Skims bra collection, but the style was met with criticism from admirers.
Kim appears in the video wearing a bodycon black t-shirt and leggings and sporting a brand new black chin-length bob hairdo.
This was a significant departure from her customary long lengths or the platinum blonde fans had been seeing recently, and it caused quite a stir online.
Immediately, comparisons flew, with many joking that she had ‘borrowed’ the appearance from her sister Kourtney, amid squabbles between the sisters.
Kim hasn’t shared any more photos of her new hair, leaving admirers to speculate whether it’s a wig or a permanent style change, but the internet seems divided.

Kourtney has worn short hair for years, and the two have lately fought about Kim’stealing’ Dolce & Gabbana from her older sister.
The mother-of-four claimed that Kourtney stole her wedding country and Andrea Bocelli, but the two appear to have reconciled.
The Kardashians’ upcoming season is unlikely to have a huge bob-related disaster, but sadly for Kim, the internet isn’t that forgiving.
