Kim Kardashian believes that her failure to pass the baby bar makes her more connected to her kid.
The 42-year-old reality star, who has five children with ex-husband Kanye West (North, 10, Saint, seven, Chicago, five, and four-year-old Psalm), completed her first year legal examinations in December 2021.
Kim stated that while her oldest kid originally found it ‘tough’ to grasp why her mother was spending so much time studying, experiencing her mother’s journey up close eventually helped North understand what her mother was going through was similar to when she had school examinations.
Doting mum Kim said: ‘For a long time it was difficult for her to understand why I was studying all the time.
‘She saw me fail and cry, she saw how I was no different than her when she was worried because of a test.’
She added to Vogue Italia: ‘But when she saw me cry from joy, I knew she understood how important that achievement was to me personally.’
Kim has stated that she would gladly give up her celebrity to focus on her legal profession and justice reform advocacy.
Speaking at the TIME100 Summit in April, she said: ‘There’s a lot that’s out there on TV but my friends know we really value our private time.
‘I would be just as happy being an attorney full-time. The journey just really opened up my eyes so much. It gets overwhelming because there’s so much to be done.
‘I always joke with my mum — who’s my manager — I say Kim K. is retiring, and I’m just going to be an attorney.’
Kim also told those in attendance that her late father, lawyer Robert Kardashian, would have ‘got such a joy’ out of her attending law school because it was something they talked about when he was still alive.
She added: ‘We talked so much about me going to law school and he always said he would help give us an allowance if we stayed in school and I couldn’t do it
‘Now that the opportunity has come along all these years later, it’s so much more meaningful.’
