According to sources, Katie Price‘s ex-husband, Kieran Hayler, has been detained on suspicion of child negligence and possession of a handgun with the aim to instill fear of violence.
Kieran, 36, has two children with the former beauty model, 44: Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight.
He’s also the father of Apollo, a newborn boy born last year to partner Michelle Penticost, 41.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police told The Mirror: ‘A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and child neglect.
‘He has been taken into custody for questioning.’
According to a source close to Kieran, he is also supporting authorities with their investigations.
According to fresh accounts, officers were called to the personal trainer’s home in West Sussex at 4 p.m. yesterday. (April 7).
According to one local, the situation is “very dramatic.”
‘We later heard it involved a gun which was quite frightening,’ a neighbour said.
Kieran has been questioned by police previously; in December of last year, it was reported that he aided authorities with their investigations before being released.
It’s unclear what the queries were about, or what investigations he was working with.
Kieran was also accused of ‘harassment’ by ex Katie, according to sources.
Katie was also hauled to court earlier this year after violating a restraining order by sending Kieran text messages about his new fiancée.
Katie and Kieran had a whirlwind affair, marrying in the Bahamas in January 2013 only two months after meeting.
Kieran’s indiscretions with Katie’s pals Jane Pountney and Chrissy Thomas brought everything crumbling down.
Kieran underwent sex addiction treatment, and the pair focused on their relationship.
Katie, on the other hand, filed for divorce after finding Kieran had reportedly had another affair with the children’s babysitter.
Nikki Brown, the nanny, denied the affair.
